Roofing fiberglass fabric Phoenix

Стеклоткань ФениксFiberglass fabric Phoenix is a woven fabric produced from fiberglass threads and textured glass roving on looms, with further impregnation with a solution based on PVA. The modern German equipment makes it possible to produce articles from 80 to 210 g / m2 with a roll width of up to 110 cm and a roll length of up to 6,000 linear meters. The fabric is supplied in rolls to the customer for further processing as the basis for the production of bitumen and bitumen-polymer roofings, as well as waterproofing materials.

High quality materials are produced due to the strength and chemical characteristics of texturized fiberglass fabrics. Fiberglass-based roofing material has a longer life (up to 35 years) than the material with cardboard base (up to 5 years). Construction materials base on fiberglass are safe for people, as they do not emit harmful substances.

The reason for the use of fiberglass fabric Phoenix in the manufacture of roofing materials lies in the following characteristics:

  • Increased Tensile Strength
    (more than 1000 N/ 5 cm)
  • Tensile strength stability during mechanical impact on the material
  • Wireframe
  • Good adhesion (sticking ability) to bituminous binders
  • Rot resistant
  • No deformation due to sudden changes in temperature
  • Moisture resistant impregnation is possible at the request of the customer
  • Quality Control of all operations

Using fiberglass fabric Phoenix as the basis for your material, you get a guarantee of reliability and durability of the product. You may be sure that the roof will not leak and the basement will not be flooded. And if the buyer of your products based on Phoenix decides to organize HIGH HEELS (Dancing in Heels) competitions on his house roof, then be sure you will not get calls complaining about holes in the roof. After all, such a roof is not afraid of high heels.

BauTex company does not stand still and constantly develops new types of products, one of such products is OrganoPhoenix, where instead of texturized yarns weft we use polyester fiber with an elongation of up to 15%, which is invaluable when used on new buildings and structures, that is, where deformation of the base is possible.

Advantages of Organophoenix:

  • Alkaline resistant
  • Elongation of more than 45%
  • Tensile strength > 1.300 N/ 5 cm

Scope of application

Phoenix fiberglass fabric is used as the basis for roofing materials used for the installation of new mastic or repair of old roofs of any configuration, and OrganoPhoenix fabric is used in the waterproofing of concrete tanks, hydrochannels, bridges, foundations and underground structures. It is used in a wide range of temperatures and various climatic conditions.
